Annihilation last night on Netflix. Thought it was absolutely superb. Alex Garland has knocked this one out the park in my opinion. The cinematography was beautiful and thought the whole thing was executed so well. Seems odd that the distributors decided not to release this in cinemas outside the US and Canada.

Thought it was strange but can totally see why they didnt release in cinemas over here. Would have been complaints left, right and centre like there was for interstellar

Game Night.

Wanted a break from the Oscar stuff out at the mo, did the job. Similar to a comedy version of The Game (w/ Michael Douglas) from back in the day.

Dunkirk was pretty gay but probably they should've watched SPR and set up a cool defence probably. Like have a runner for ammo and make sticky bombs to blow the germans to fucking shit! AA guns work on infantry also, if you watched SPR you would fuckin know that already probably

Unsane

Shot entirely on an iPhone. Better than average movie, had the potential to be much better.

'Fargo' on Netflix. Can't believe I missed this one given the cast. Cracking watch.

Yeah, always swerved the series as I'm not really a Freeman fan - might give it a whirl.

Isle of dogs, very disappointing & pretty boring in comparison to a lot of his better films.

Took him an episode or two to really get into character but I really rated him after that point.

Loved Brawl in Cell Block 99.

The director is gonna carve himself a nice little niche if he continues with this quality of output.
