Tenet . Nolans best film since the prestige, at last he drops all the pretentiousness and makes a riveting action movie

Wild Style 1983
Pretty fun documentary about graffiti, hiphop and breakdancing. On youtube too.

Rope 1948
First Hitchcock movie I've ever seen and found it entertaining although not great. Just at the right length with a 70 minute runtime.

Oh mate if you've never seen them make sure to sit down to Psycho, Rear Window and Vertigo. Three of the best films you'll see. Rear Window is especially apt after a year of lockdown.

Grandmaster Flash mixing in the kitchen is an iconic scene in that film.

Add Style Wars to your list Cool

The Godfather Coda: The Death of Michael Corleone.

Coppola doesn't change much but it still felt a little better for some reason.

Just read something about Tenet, anyone heard of the 'Sator Square'? Pretty interesting stuff, found inscribed on old artefacts and ruins since 79AD, everything on it is referenced in the film

Ww84 - wasted opportunity with all involved, story is crap. Preferred the first one by a long shot.

On the rocks
Fun movie but very lightweight, hoped for a second lost in translation.. Bill Murray carries this one for the full 100%

Hillbilly Elegy
Pretty decent, nothing groundbreaking. Good watch for the whole fam.

Watched both the Jack Reacher films on nights last week and enjoyed them. I’m pretty easily pleased though if there’s a bit of action and a bit of a spy story. Plus I like Tom Cruise.

Then watched the latest Mission Impossible. Can’t fuckin stand that peg cunt in them. But enjoyed it

Top Gun. Absolute belter. Looking forward to the new one.

Soul - top stuff, not Pixar’s funniest or most heart-wrenching but done really well and avoids a twee, corny message

Sound of Metal
Great stuff, sound design was very cool. Never seen a movie cover this subject and (maybe obvious) but I loved that it was much more ‘show’ than ‘tell’.

Soul
Terrific visuals and some cool jazz licks but I didnt enjoy it as much as expected. Not at all bad but I liked Inside-out and Coco better. Just not as engaging / emotional / funny as other Pixar movies Ive seen in the past.

I couldn't believe how bad it was, terrible dialogue, awful story.

Can't believe how many positive reviews it's getting.

Possibly the worst film I've seen in a longtime.
