Tenet . Nolans best film since the prestige, at last he drops all the pretentiousness and makes a riveting action movie

Rope 1948
First Hitchcock movie I've ever seen and found it entertaining although not great. Just at the right length with a 70 minute runtime. Wild Style 1983
Oh mate if you've never seen them make sure to sit down to Psycho, Rear Window and Vertigo. Three of the best films you'll see. Rear Window is especially apt after a year of lockdown.

Pretty fun documentary about graffiti, hiphop and breakdancing. On youtube too.

Grandmaster Flash mixing in the kitchen is an iconic scene in that film.

Just read something about Tenet, anyone heard of the 'Sator Square'? Pretty interesting stuff, found inscribed on old artefacts and ruins since 79AD, everything on it is referenced in the film

Watched both the Jack Reacher films on nights last week and enjoyed them. I’m pretty easily pleased though if there’s a bit of action and a bit of a spy story. Plus I like Tom Cruise.
Then watched the latest Mission Impossible. Can’t fuckin stand that peg cunt in them. But enjoyed it
Top Gun. Absolute belter. Looking forward to the new one.

Sound of Metal
Great stuff, sound design was very cool. Never seen a movie cover this subject and (maybe obvious) but I loved that it was much more ‘show’ than ‘tell’.
Soul
Terrific visuals and some cool jazz licks but I didnt enjoy it as much as expected. Not at all bad but I liked Inside-out and Coco better. Just not as engaging / emotional / funny as other Pixar movies Ive seen in the past.
