Bad Lieutenant - New Orleans

Batshit insane movie, equal parts wild at heart and training day. Can imagine most people would hate this but I loved it, werner herzog got the best out of nicolas cage.

The Lighthouse…..what the fuck was that all about?! I think I enjoyed it but some clarification as to what actually happened in it would help….or maybe it doesn't matter?
Mans descent into madness?

Enjoyed Wrath of Man but it seriously trailed off towards the end.

The score in the film was amazing and the opening camera work pulled me right in… Worth a watch but agreed it has some luls - feel it needed to be a touch shorter/punchier

Deffo dragged and could have lost about 20-30mins but on reflection i think i liked it even more than i thought at the time. Its actually quite ambitious for a 'guy ritchie film' and you're right some of the shots are superb.

Cruella was far better than I was expecting, also pretty dark for a kid's film scene with Disney's history

The Greatest Showman.

Can’t believe it took me this long to watch. Kids put it on last week. Wasn’t sure it was for me and by the end it was family sing along and cheering. Fuckin brilliant.

Bit gutted it’s not Rebecca Ferguson actually singing though, that part was class. Although wanted to belt Barnum when I thought he was guna run off with her and leave his Mrs and kids. Proper drew me in.

Also this. Loved it. Kids loved it, 12/9/4.

I’m not sure I understand how it ends with her sending the puppies out then to go on and want to kill their puppies in future as we know in the original films?

Think Disney have always had a slight darkness in there somewhere. Always death at least.

Not sure if I’ve mentioned Raya and the last dragon in here but that’s class too.
