The Little Things.

Denzel is just class in anything. Enjoyed it but wanted more. Never seen a film with the other fella in before. Does he talk like that in all his films if using a normal voice?

Dune - really good. It’s a bit like 300 mixed with Star Wars/Blade Runner. Visually it’s epic and I could watch it again. Characters were all on point.

I concur. Def to be seen on the big screen and hopefully they find the cash to do the other parts. Sound and visuals are epic.

Thought it was great. Took a while to get going but for a long film, time flew by.

The French Dispatch - not Anderson's best, but still quite good. Definitely worth a watch if you like him. Adrien Brody was class.

Agreed! Put it on after maybe 30 minutes of scrolling through viewing options to put myself out of selection misery and am glad I did. Pleasant surprise to see Noomi Rapace show up in the movie.

Dune and French Dispatch. Dune was pretty decent although I think it would definitely help going into the film with a little prior knowledge of the dune novel. Hopefully part 2 can just go balls to the wall now they’ve done the set up in part 1. French Dispatch I thoroughly enjoyed. Not Anderson’s best but definitely worth the watch and the acting and humour were excellent. The little animation of the car chase was so well done. Also Lea Seydoux gets her baps out so win win really.

^^^Yeah, really good flick this.

Gotta be in the right frame of mind for it though; if you're feeling a little bit down you could be suicidal half way through.

The scene when they have it out near the end is fucking intense.

Nobody - much better than I expected, some of the special effects are a little far fetched but story and action were decent. If you enjoyed the john wick films, you'll most probably like this. 7/10.

No time to die
Thoroughly enjoyed it, sure its been made a bit ‘progressive’ but I think all the hallmarks of a good bond movie are still there.

Dune
Thought it was excellent, watched it in dolby vision and without reading any of the books first. Very cool cinematography.

French Dispatch
Didnt really like this one, have to say Im not a real wes anderson fan and this didnt change my opinion. It has very cool visual style but the stories are so thin and the pacing is all over the place. +1 for the nude scene though.

Lamb I didn’t like. Too weird and too slow I thought.

No Time to Die - watched this at home the other night and enjoyed it overall but didn’t think it was amazing. Some really good bits for sure and did it’s job maybe but didn’t love the villain and no where near as good as Skyfall or Casino.

Dune - saw at the cinema last night finally and absolutely loved it. Having nothing to compare it to as not seen the other film but felt like it did justice to the book which I read like 13 years ago now so have forgotten a lot. But yeah, definite big screen film, epic etc. only problem was the bits not in English were subtitled in Swedish which I couldn’t understand all of so kept having to ask my friend and think people in the cinema around us were annoyed. Laughing out loud
