If someone asked me to explain this film to them I'd probably just stare blankly and say vaginas or something. Men. Never liked and simultaneously been so weirdly out by a specific scene and then generally mind fucked by a film.
Easily my favorite film of the year so far(though not seen Elvis yet)

Certainly it was a film. having a rewatch tonight so i can focus more on the actual themes and what garland was going for. Did love the soundtrack, very good, was mainly what I loved first watch, but it's easy to see how this film isn't for everyone.

Everything everywhere all at once
Loved this one, didn't have any expectations and was blown away. It's really out there but loved it.
Men
Loved it in the first half but became a bit boring after the church bit. There is probably a lot of Christian references to unpack about adam/eve and men and women but it just lost me. Vagina scene lost its welcome very quickly too.
Crimes of the future
Didn't rate it, way too much expository dialogue. I get a movie like this needs worldbuilding but they just do so much explaining it gets dull.
