wasted on the youth - must see!
edit didnt see covs post and havent read the book so i didnt have a benchmark we need to talk about kevin - excellent tilda swinton was really good. love john c reily too
I did still enjoy it and the girlfriend though it was excellent, just couldn't help sitting there thinking they have missed this etc, the book builds this hatred between mother and son alot more and did the mothers neglect make Kevin the way he is.

had me in bits that film ^
Not ashamed to admit it did me too
edit: just to add, the film is flawed in that you can't really think that things should be allowed to go on as they are, but there are some beautiful moments in it and penn really is amazing.

We Need To Talk About Kevin - Overwrought and unsubtle. Like The Omen meets Kevin & Perry directed by David Lynch. Ramsey is too in love with her ability.
Rampage - Not bad for Uwe Boll
A Lonely Place To Die - Enjoyed first 45 mins or so, pretty bad after that.
Chaser - Dark, pretty engrossing.
Rango - Brilliant. Ballsy considering how weird a 'kids' film it is.
P2 - Boobs and Wes Bentley having a tantrum
House Of The Devil - Little too much of a slow-burn. Ending not good enough.
The Way Back - Weirdly gripping considering there's no real drama, just watching people walk. Quite dream-like.
Got The Kill List, Super 8 and Bridesmaids to watch Over Xmas
Was that the Korean film 'Chaser'? Watched that a month ago, thought it was brilliant, as is 'I Saw The Devil' which is just epic.

three films tonight…
TT: Closer to the edge… Great doc about the Isle of Man TT…. visually its pretty amazing, so well shot, well worth a watch
The Guard… Low key, possibly a bit slow in parts but made up for by Gleesons performance and uber dry wit
Kill List… Late on the bandwagon, fucking loved it though… enjoy the fact you come out of it feeling disorientated
and that there are so many interpretations of what happened… sat and chatted about it for a fair while afterwards
have Troll Hunter and I Saw the Devil to watch in the next few days
