Thanks - yeah it’s a new one, built June this year according to paperwork. It’s the tall version and it’s just black leather/walnut so the standard option. Bought from a company in Illinois for a crazy good price compared to regular US retail and UK retail (which is insane). The company is a certified Herman Miller stockist and it came brand new fully boxed with 5 year warranty.

Congrats. A great investment. I’ve got the same chair (not the tall version) bought it from new 13 years ago shipped from the US. Can honestly say it’s one of the few things that get better with age.the leather creases nicely (and thankfully the cushions become less “puffy” after a while ) & the walnut gets a lovely rich patina.

I know it would, another reason, after learning here you can get a tall version (thanks) I still want one, no matter how "played out" it is.

When you order an Eames lounge chair you can select full grain, MCL or Vicenza black leather. Any idea what yours is birdman?

I'd always imagined full grain is the stuff that ends up looking like a vintage baseball mit and the stuff I'll definitely get when my parents die and I inherit Cool

Cmon death..

Mine is the Vincenza leather - feels great quality.

Picked up some Fornasetti bits for the kitchen, some new whisky glasses and decorative plates.

Yoox. Will get a pic of the plates up once I’ve hung them.

GoPro 7 Black with their 'crappy camera' trade in deal. Amazing piece of kit for the size.
