Reading your posts milspex, I think what your missing is a way out. I"m the same age as you, pretty much the same background and was an average student at best. I'm though happy in my skin, run my own company and f*** fine bitches between satin sheets. I was at the exact same point you were at not too long ago, but its like alcoholism, you reach rock bottom and then you say fuck this I'm going to do something about it. It all about setting a goal. Rather than thinking of having a one bed apartment, humvee etc, look at it in terms of what I need to do to make the money to get those things. Then forget being a consumer for a while and start saving up all your money and investing it in either yourself through education or some business idea. Its not that hard, it just takes time and self control. But if you really do hit rock bottom then its easier than just living the other way, cause you at least are aiming towards brighter days.
