I think I remember reading the manual for one of those once and it read something along the lines of

"If the gentleman would like to stow skis through the back seat, then follow these instructions…"

Lovely though, I've always wanted one in gun metal one but never have the balls to do it.

of course it is. they made them for over 10 yrs, sold millions all over the world and they're so durable and reliable that they're still running today, look brilliant, have classic status…. i could go on….

cheers for the comments. I love it. got it from a friend at work for a monkey. just passed it's MOT. 155000 miles. First car I've owned in 10 years!

I had a 89 318i in diamond black, the body work was immaculate and it had a couple of nice extras stainless steel exhaust system etc, some cunt nicked it and wrapped it round a tree, it wasn't insured
