You can take it off, I didn't in the end with my scooter cause of the warranty and insurance problems that come with doing it.

Is the interactivity with the touch the same as the iPhone? (with regards to zooming n'stuff)

Limiters are easy to remove, its whether the bike is built to go faster, Italian built stuff generally is, Jap stuff is generally built for the uk market, aka, slower.

anyone jailbroken their ipod touch? you can add all the apps from the iphone and fix the calendar etc…
