I used to run myself as until about 17 so I know that you could qualify to run for GBR with that time.
Pretty sure the world record is about 13 mins.

Still not having it. You got any hi-spec Sony video equipment to record yourself running a 5K road race?

5k in 15 mins is really good going….you must of ran for club\school\county - was it track or road?
I used to run fairly competitively (county level), long distance was my bag(half marathons etc, My Dad ran for GB in a few marathons).

started running for the first time a year ago, its the only sport I've ever been good at, makes sense since I'm built like a runner. didn't realise 15 minutes was that good. I usually take 20-22 minutes and don't push myself but I have done 15 minutes when everything was in sync and I just sprinted the whole lot, it was a combination of road & track. posted up pics in running gear before, just wear tall tees and basic nike gear, air max 97s always.

amazing Laughing out loud

To put it in perspective for the non-runners on here, projected finish times/equivalent performances for a 15minute 5K are:

Mile 4:19
10K 31:10
Half marathon 1:09:20
Marathon 2:26:14

What's your weekly mileage Mil?
