What waist size did you get in the APC Andy? Temped by a pair of APC again. I have an old pair of English as they were called. Think the Rescue is similar. Did you try the new standards?

I ripped the thigh seem parts of my new standards this week climbing over a wall Oops had to get them re-stitched up and im only normally thighed.

I had some resues and thought they were a good fit, not overly baggy but definately had some room to them - I got some rescues again about 6 months back and they seem MUCH baggier, dunno if they changed the cut or something.

ps definitely size down 2 at least. i went down 1 on the petit standards cos i couldnt be fucked with them being slightly tight to start off with, after about 3 wears i can literally pull them down without undoing the buttons (no flasher).

Guido these are tagged as a 30, bought from ddd who had worn them a couple of times. Actual size is 34".

From the man himself:

ddd wrote: 34" is the basic coldwashed size. I have cold rinsed them so they are not "stiff" so they have already shrunk down to neutral at 34" they will stretch a little bit maybe up to 1 " under wearing, then when you hot wash them they will go down to around 33" and quickly stretch back to 34 / 35 " after around 2 wears.

Across the thigh at the widest point (level with the crotch) they measure around 30cm across. That's only just big enough for my legs, these fit quite slim on me, so no, I didn't try New Standards. Laughing out loud

The hem is around 22cm across.

I was tempted by them actually when DDD has posted them for sale. Wasn't sure if they'd be too small on the waist but sound ideal. that's a big jump though from a tagged 30! Sound a good fit for you though thunder thighs. Smiling
