Bored of reading this bullshit now Roll Eyes
Stop trying to take 'rules' from the big encyclopedia of Japanese streetwear laid down by some guys you jerked off too when you were a teenager and trying to apply it to contemporary fashion houses. I would imagine 99% of people who wear RO will combine it with Italian and Belgian designers so you make fuck all sense. At least Mr X is just a troll and doesn't actually think he's schooling people

I'm not convinced you're even a real person. Just one of the talking heads in a tank like in Futurama that pops up to chat shit occasionally and suck off the established fuk hierarchy

Its a fair point, buying a RO leather and a Vis deckhand within a couple of weeks of each other is a bit random. Nothing wrong with the purchases on the last page though

I did acknowledge that the Vis doesn't really fit with the other stuff I wear but I think it can be worked in but would be careful, not just whack on a deckhand with some Ramones and skinnies Laughing out loud

What's wrong to value quality & fabrics more than brand synergy just for the sake of it?
ime all your purchases make sense and will work just fine with any 'clean' wardrobe.

I think Mr X made a point of style 'synergy', this is different from brand synergy which Mil bangs on about and requires only 1 or 2 degrees of separation for an outfit be valid.

Crackajack it cool for people to mix it up, the one think I don't like is when you see people wearing a Nike logo top, with 3 stripe adidas tracksuit with bottoms and then a pair adidas.

EssexBoyII, please report back here when you are called out for wearing a black jumper, black tshirt and multi coloured tshirt (at different times presumably) that are not designed in the same country.

So if you live in a Edwardian English house but have Swedish interior and drive an Italian or German sports car and wear Japanese clothing that is inspired by Americana - are you not the same as Essex (applies to the majority and not aimed at anyone directly)

lol at people getting they're knickers in a twist over a couple of t-shirts. It's ridiculous. I do think EB2's purchases are kinda random but it all depends on how he plans on wearing it - as he's stated several times.

Fuck unwritten "FUK laws" - buy what you want - wear what you like - get rinsed by internet knob-heads who think they know better/are slightly bitter. It's all part of it.

As long as you feel comfy in what you've got on then that's all that really matters.

I'll have you know all my purchases go through a stringent "research and curation process" to make sure I have the correct "intel" before going on "special ops"

What Figurine says its toilet aswell. So if he bought them 6 months apart that makes it better?

Contemporary European labels or more leftfield artisanal brands can be mixed with Japanese brands. You don't have to be head to toe Vis for it to work, nor is it exclusive to other Japanese Labels. You could argue recent Saint Laurent has more place next Visvim than Soph say, look at the recent Psych Rock collection as an example suede jackets, native american nods. Just like grungier UC could work with the current season Surf Sound really well. Its about choosing the right items to compliment each other, good mixture of fabrics, textures and colour.

Same goes the other way when you think more technical, Marni, Jil or Prada could sit well alongside Soph or Minotaur.

To say you cant have a Rick leather and Deckhand in the same wardrobe is utter bollocks.

If you wear Visvim with Ape u have the wrong intel. Ape haven't even done any of Visvims contrived collabs.
