Love my black Iris. Been after an Olive for a few years but would need a TK red ticket on it these days. Let’s see how generous TBB are.

Yeah like those CPs. Remind me of the sage nubuck Clae Thomson from a few years back. So nice. No idea why they stopped making them. Some of the best made i’ve ever worn.

A few random bits (no visvim sorry)

- Nike space hippie 4
- Travel Fox boots - drunk eBay purchase.
Not for everyone but kinda into them.
Look like an old ACG boot
- Nike ERL cap
- Zoom magazines from 1973 - street find

Where did you get the Space Hippie 4 from? Were they hard to get? I didn’t think they dropped until next week (I’m in US). What are they like in hand? Sorry for all the questions - Thanks!

That's a good drunk purchase. very of the moment they may be, the sole is awfully nice and rugged looking.

These were the type of boots I used to wear with thick bright red socks. Such good looking shoes. Love it.

I like to take both. If not some speedcross than my russell moccasins. I prefer to bring the kitchen sink rather than ultralight though.
Walking over shale rock with a heavy load, wear the limmers (not much heavier than these)
Over a packed dirt trail or want to air out the limmers? speedcross then

Those jeans in the first pic are too awesome. Part of me wants to wander and just fight the elements with the right gear. I did it once with '80s/'90s US .mil stuff but need to do it more n get some serious footwear

What boots are those. They look great. Can't find them on the Russel site.

cheers, they're Limmer standard boots - http://limmerboot.com/Standard.html
can vouch for em being as heavy as they claim. I bring along a pair of russells or speedcross for use around camp or to switch it up a bit..

do it while you're still young and especially in this covid shite. throw a bottle of scotch or bourbon in your pack (few cans of beer if you have room) and get out there and let the proverbial bug out follow

Word! I will one day but I always take ages to do shit. I talked about a bike for 5 years before I actually did it, yeah wished I did it earlier, love my ride now, even tho it's cheap and shitty, it's mine and it takes me cool places

Put the Gregory SPEAR main pack to use the other day. Picked up my last purchases from the Post Office. The external load panel basically rigs anything, animal carcasses, ammo, a tent.

Inside the box is a shitload of US stuff through my proxy there. Propper Foul Weather Parka (see WAYWT), 75% off, fuckin finally have the perfect oversize blue parka I've been dreaming about for many many years! Might grab another one as backup. Might run some paracord through the bottom hem to cinch it in a bit, otherwise PERFECT. Too bad I couldn't get the matching liner in my size. That looks too dope.

Also got a shitload of Polo, GAP, J.crew and various shit. House of Blanks order. Successfully avoided tax by declaring everything at $1
