£495, rather than £1-1,300! I did a similar reaction from people at work.

However, as Abagnale and I were saying, for that price I could wear it and move it on for about the same price quite comfortably. Especially as they are impossible to find in larger sizes.

What size are you? I've seen some pop up on YJP.

I’d be a 40 I expect but zero idea how to use YJP!

I've got that one as well but think I fucked it up a bit when I washed it. Lost it's shape a wee bit.

I have a Battenwear down parka in the 60/40 material so was after something a bit lighter and stuffable. The CDW 60/40 feels a lot more hard-wearing than this.

I'm probably getting rid of a CDW Italian vest in 60/40 (olive, L) if anyone looking.

Finally got hold of a pair of FOG's at a reasonable price(£100) but before i did i got a custom pair from converse for £72. Bar the leather toungue and the back loop there's no other difference.

And Wander jacket and some 11BBS moon bounty hunter things.

Cheers to gawkrodger for the sizing advice, spot on. The jacket I do like, but it fits like Brad C's binbag off Silver Linings and does have a slight undergrad/Topman vibe from certain angles.

You could try the classic remedy for down washes; spin cycle or tumble cycle with a bunch of tennis balls.

Tender hook belt -
if these things were around when I was young, I'd have some deep scars on me back..
