Laughing out loud

I always presumed they where really stiff leather like what welder jackets where really made of, it may have been more than £250 that but it was no where near what the are now

I think they used to retail around the 450 mark, cheapest I can remember. I bought a J-24 around then, just seen the new price of those £2300 Jawdropping!

I tried one on at the Covent Garden shop maybe five years ago and it was around £550, so yeah they've stuck the price up. This current version is a bit different though. The split leather is really heavy but not stiff or waxed, more like a conventional suede. It has raglan shoulders and there's more finishing as opposed to completely unfinished edges on the old one.

edit: lol just seen the ebay listing, can't believe they accepted at that price, even with the nick taken out of the toe box.

Someone somewhere will be furious with their partner for accepting a bid so low i reckon.

Could easily flip them on grailed or somewhere for double that price. Or better yet I'll have them if you don't get on Laughing out loud

Shit Zoom - not sure how I beat you to them! I only bid on Monday so perhaps she wanted a higher bid, kicked yours back and then had radio silence… I went in at £70 to start with… and we agreed this.

and yep, definitely someone who was bitter and just wanted to get rid… no box mind but I didnt care
