Had City Gent's recommended to me by a few friends, probably gunna go to them for the next cut..

There are plenty though, Sassoon, Tony & Guy if you're looking for one like that.

iMale in the corn exchange is supposed to be alright as well..

City Gent is hit and miss depending on who's cutting your hair.

iMale is the best going in the city centre, look out for the free haircut vouchers on PinkGorilla that often appear.

Yes, tried to stop me and a few mates yesterday. He's a persistant little bastard.

Anyone else notice that HIP has yet to re-open, I can't find info on this anywhere, been through all the main routes and was considering e-mailing but seems pointless as the time I get a reply it will probably be open or they will have explained what's happening.. Anything I google just comes up with HIP being one of the only independent stores at trinity etc..

Also noticed that on the map/info plaque things, there is no mention of HIP, but other stores (victoria's secret, cinema etc), which are opening soon are detailed..

Baffled.. Puzzled

Trinity is a pretty incredible building full of very pedestrian shops
Can't believe people get so hyped over Hollister and the like
Hips better suited to thorntons arcade, despite better footfall/exposure I think it's a bad move for them

No doubt be a challenge but I think they wanted to grow the brand portfolio and they were always limited at thornton's. They can represent brands much better in the new unit. They have a few new brands on board too

I can understand hip wanting to branch out and grow its customer base
Just think its better suited to a boutique style arcade store (or two units next to each other)
than what is essentially a mall unit
Personally feel it takes something away from it being there no matter how unique the shopfit is
Wish them every success though, only decent independent in leeds really
Look forward to seeing the new brands on board too
Some kind of fuk discount might sway me Eye-wink

Thanks man.

And Burk, I kinda agree but then again I'm sure that they wanna keep on moving.. To be honest, HIP is the only shop I'm interested in that will be in Trinity, the (ever so slightly) bigger footlocker is a nice touch, and having an apple store closer than sheffield is good, but apart from that everything is was already here or is just another high street chain.. Shame really, there was potential for a lot more than we got..

The thing that interests me about Trinity is the future of the rest of the city centre :

a)Many shops simply moved in to Trinity, and so will the surrounding area / streets just contain more empty shops and look run down.

b) Will Trinity bring in loads of visitors (& £) to Leeds, and so the rest of the city centre will benefit. Hopefully with more independent shops coming in to the city.

Bruk - totally agree with you mate I do think it's better suited to being a boutique style store. I hope it works out for them too. As for the discount can't do anything on that mate, I used to work there a bit ago! Pretty sure they told me APC is on board and some Japanese brands but Everton wouldn't tell me which ones

Not been back up to Leeds to see Trinity but I will take your word on it doug!

Any decent sports shops in Leeds?

After trying on some Nike football pants but can't seem to see any on the Sports Direct/JD websites, where else is there?
