Thought I'd never hear that
Think as its your 'home town' that maybe you take it for granted.
But people coming from out of town will enjoy the night.
Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express by the stadium.
Did a tour of the student bars such as The Key etc.
In town, went to the following:
AquaLounge - Pants.Wanker tried to charge me for sitting in the roped off bit upstairs
Original Four? - Good. Heard the Grange Hill theme tune so that was tops!
Revolution - is what it is. Too many little rudeboys showing off their 'bitches'
Orange Tree - Liked that place.
Mosh - Didnt like that so much.
Some strip joint called Niche.
Then we got caught on the wrong side of the tracks lol so went in:
Zanzibar - Wank but full of cheeky freshers.
Blaze - Pulled a unit so it did for me.
Onyx - WTF! Felt out of place as i didnt have any bling on neither a 'ho with hotpants on'.
Afterdark - Again WTF!! I think half of Somalia was in that place,bastards make you take your jackets off before they let you in.
Shops were crap.
Only decent place was Wellgosh which had those idiom dot jackets and a fair bit of LVC.
Pilot was wank, Limeys was G-Star central and i picked up a deck from Casino skates.
All in all, a rather good night out.
Drinks were piss cheap, Women were fit & rather friendly.
Worth getting to if you can

p.s altern8 or playing htere this week, that will be rave bloody tastic.
Id have hooked up with you ! haha. im from coventry. Yeh upstairs in the glass house is nice. My mate is djing there this weekend with brandon block. Paul Morale is in there alot promoting the place.
Whatever you do dont go to lava/ignite its shit and for pure entertainment value and ladies go to jumpin jacks on the skydome! its the place to be even though im bored rigid of it :S

yeh my bad i just checked the ticket lol. My mate is warming up from him. if youve got the flyer hes kato part of 'summers and kato' i cant wait it should be good. hopefully ill see you there mate.
the asnwer to your question andy is no. im sure Mister Gs was careys before the name change. if you like copious amounts of cocaine thats the bnest place on a saturday night.

wasn't like that when I was there I don't think, it was the only place in town students were happy to go (this would be '96 / '97). bit sketchy on the details but I think it was right in the centre, in amongst the shops?
