Actually wasn’t even trying to be harsh, have been trying to get my head around peoples spending habits vis a vis their earnings.
Really curious, would someone earning average money spend 2k (if that’s even what they cost) on a 30th bday present

Depends on what your spending habits in general are.
I’ve got a friend who dresses in H&M but spunks circa £400 minimum down the pub every weekend.
Don’t think it’s as simple as how much you earn.

Interesting response.. Ulster, things have been going well for me the last couple of years. Thanks for the concern.
I brought up Goyard to her amongst other things.. she’s at home raising our kids after giving up her career so wanted to get her something special. When I say she’s asked for it, it’s because I’ve prompted it.
Ended up calling the store.. thanks for queue advice hopefully will avoid that.

Depending on what the root causes are it may be worth looking at those as well. May not be a short term problem.
