A=πr^2

14/7 = 2

r = d/2

2d = 4A

2 pizzas so 4A/2 = 2x the area.

I think you misunderstood - a 14 inch pizza is exactly the same area as four 7 inch pizzas, not two

(sorry if thats what you meant)

Not sure if this is a cunning marketing ploy but I regularly receive mail from cancer research thanking me & showing the great work my £5 a month direct debit is doing, and furthermore asking me to increase it to £8 to help even more.

I've sponsored loads of people in the past and ticked the gift aid thing but to my knowledge have never set up a direct debit or anything so got no idea why they think I'm donating monthly… I'm now worried about the bad karma attached to the fact I'm accepting their gratitude and am seriously considering ringing up and not only donating the £5 they said I am paying but "increasing" it to £8.
