Thanks for the info. Just was a bit concerned because it out for delivery then it said status delivered and somebody had signed for it at the depot. Isn't it only supposed to be signed for when you actually recieve it yourself?

I've been promoted at work and given a considerable pay rise after about year there, over that period I've shown massive potential and produced some excellent work for my clients and for pitches etc.

However there has been a lot of re-organisation in the office and now the opportunities for delivering quality stuff have drastically reduced, and I find myself spending 90% of my time on pretty tedious co-ordination/adminstrative tasks. I have two new business directors and my line manager as well as the digital strategy who I worked closely with have left.

In this situation which is better, look around for something else at other agencies or speak with someone high up and explain what the issue is?

Is there no relevant work coming in? Or are you just not getting it?

Basically my new Business Directors (I work on two separate accounts) haven't been giving me anything exciting, whereas before I had earnt the trust of senior colleagues and was getting interesting projects to work on quite frequently. Now the two people who gave me most of the good work to do have moved on.

It's gone from about 50/50 interesting/tedious to about 10/90. My wage is good for my experience but thats not the point.

Should I flag it up or just find a more strategic role somewhere else and trollface my current place after being given a promotion? (Seems a bit of a tosser thing to do)

Isn't this just the way of things in medium/big companies? The more senior you become, the more you tend to manage and the less you do actual (creative) work?

So what if you post a link these days you've got to check it's ofn status beforehand? I'm at the forefront of the internet brah - I know it's old, that's irrelevant to the point I was making.

so how are we gonna deal with this.
whats the best thing to do, put it on the channel and press pause before we go and then just pess play when we get back, or shall we leave it on the channel, and then rewind it on live tv to the start again?

Rewind won't work. I think he can buy it in advance and set it to record / after buying it might automatically record? Pretty sure that's how the box office films work for example, you get a time limit on watching them, like a week.

If the new biz guys are bringing in work, I think it'd be hard to complain on the grounds that it's not interesting.

If you're literally just sitting there twiddling your thumbs, not doing any billable client work it's probably a good idea to get a meeting with new biz and find out what's going on; it could be that they could use some pointers to help sell what you do (That usually the issue at a full-service agencies anyway) or maybe they're just boring people, in comparison with the previous guys and just go for whatever.
