iirc i think its his job and no human really needs it or gets it, but he wants to try and let people know its there if you like to throw money away.

Smiling it aint my job.

basically, most of these car hire things are abt £2k XS, so if you prang you pay. the excess insurance covers you for the £2k.

mistake looks like he has it with the £19 but worth checking.

the thing is if you elect to choose this insurance when you rock up at the airport its much dearer than sorting it in adv.

hope you are all clear (no aids). Shocked

VEHICLE EXCESS
Although our rates are fully inclusive of all required insurances there is always an excess to pay in the majority destinations, with the exception of USA, Canada and some Spanish locations. This means in the event of accident/damage or theft you (the driver) will be expected to pay the first part of the claim.

Excess charges vary by car type, from destination to destination and supplier to supplier. Please check you local terms and conditions for your excess amount (if any). If you haven’t already done so, you can limit your liability to Nil by purchasing an Excess Refund Insurance from us – please visit Atlaschoice.com or call us to do this. Please note that purchasing Excess Refund Insurance at the Rental Desk will generally be more expensive, so it pays to book this ahead.

why would i be drunk?

from the t&c's

"On all bookings you will be required to leave a deposit to the value of any excess for Collision Damage Waiver, which you may be required to pay if the rental vehicle is damaged during the period of hire. If this excess does not apply, you will be advised of this when making your booking.
If your rental vehicle is damaged, the deposit will be retained and treated as payment of the excess.
we offer two levels of Damage Excess Waiver product, which offer reimbursement for any excess paid as a result of accidental damages whilst renting your car:
Standard Damage Excess Waiver or
Total Damage Excess Waiver
If you purchase either of our Damage Excess Waiver products, you will be charged the excess but can reclaim it (subject to the terms and conditions outlined below), by filling in an accident report form (supplied by the rental company) and sending a copy to us within 28 days of returning your rental vehicle."

Received an email purporting to be from the HMRC advising of a tax refund. Email address is securedlink@revenuetax.com. This is fake right?

The mrs sent me a picture of one of the "butlers in the buff" from the Hen do she was on last nigght. She thought i would find it funny, i didn't. I'm right in getting pissed off about this aren't i? She says some of her friends did the same, and their partners weren't annoyed.

I wouldn't try taking a photo of a stripper if you value your phone
