I have someone I can speak italian daily with, but I need something to help build vocabulary and understand how to structure sentences etc

I'm currently learning German and started with the Michel Thomas program. Seems suited to what you're looking for as it is aimed at speaking, and teaches sentence structure and grammar through repetition, rather than being heavily focused on vocab etc. Think he's done an Italian one. Should be able to get a torrent and it will keep you busy for a good few months.

got the michel thomas on iphone as an app today, will give it a go, just will listen over and over I guess,I spend a fair bit of time in italy so I am just hoping this will help me start to be able to pick up what is being said in group situations when I might not be the main focus of a discussion,

I would definitely recommend doing the lessons. The audio cd is £40 on Amazon so i'm guessing the app doesn't really compare. I did them at home when i had a spare hour and then put them on my iphone to go over on the move. Should be a torrent out there as i say.

Have a look at the 'by association' series too. I.e 'Italian by association' teaches by a different methodology.

they are a law to themselves it could be 9am but more likely mid afternoon depending where on the route it is,I'm guessing your office is quite central so you probably have a better chance of a sensible time

Strange place to put that question Syd. What are you looking at? It fits fairly true in my experience I'm a 2 in most JP brands and have size 2 in Sunsea Items I own.

We generally just used rightmove. Has the best search tools if you're looking. The draw an area is a good tool. Mouseprice is useful for seeing how much houses have been reduced in price over a period of time

yeas, I am aware rightmove is no.1 - I look at it everday but findaproperty was a strong rival whereas zoopla is appalling.

you would have thought there's be more competition.
