I can't even find the chair in that color on their site (not even listed as sold out).

Do they employ blind people there?

Ordered some boots that were black on photos amd desribed as black. They had one pair and no brown ones on the site yet they sent me brown ones (even says brown in big letters on the box).

Pointed out their error and they have asked for a photo of item and once they get that they will give me £ off or an exclusive code.

Would keep quiet about the chair tho Cool

Chair has found a good spot in my apartment Ubercool 90% off retail so not a bad deal Cool

Does anyone here know of a book or some other resource about marketing/branding I could buy to read and help me write a small essay on this topic?

"My favourite global brand and the secret of its success"

Cheers!

My mate moved over to China a few months back to teach english. Everything was going well for him until he got into a barfight last week. We have the CCTV (not gonna post it here) and he was clearly provoked. The bloke he hit called the police and tried to sue for the equivalent of £10,000. My mate managed to bide some time to get the money together and caught a flight back to the UK. Is there any chance the Chinese could ask for his arrest etc over here? Don't think there's any chance of that happening - shall he just avoid going to China for a few years?

Read No Logo, books by Wally Olins and possibly some by Seth Godin.

Go to the D&AD websote and check out some 'president lectures' by various designers and industry folk to get some POV's.

Haha - he wasn't extradited, he just did a runner as he couldn't afford to pay the £10K.

Go to a local Sweatbox, they do motion analysis to check your gait and from there they can hook you up with suitable trainers. Think they've got a sale on as well.

Avoiding China is pretty easily done, its not like being barred from your local where all your mates go every night.
