If the conviction is spent then you should be fine.
You could do an ETSA application in advance to check.
Pretty sure it would flag up an issue prior to you leaving.

You get a tour guide been driving you around for 4 days, catch him falling asleep at the wheel 4 + times almost hitting bus, do you let it go or feedback that the guys dangerous. Don't want to cause any grief for the geezer but wouldn't want to know he bumped off some others. I'm minded to send a thanks for the trip but the driver seemed tired email or is that not here or there ?

Everyone is driving crazy, I said let's stop, take a break etc. I'm not a great passenger but I could see his eyes going. I dont want him to get sacked if I raise it. Drove from 8-6, couple of 1.5 hour stops on the route.

I guess I got more concerned when I adked him about driving here and he said when you learn you have many accidents ( and he also had a couple of decent dents in his deluxe vintage Nissan.

You're safe so leave it be. Different country, different rules etc. Poor fucker probably had to put a shift in just to put dinner on the table for his family. In the 1% chance you see him make the news at ten with a bus load of tourists, just count yourself lucky it wasn't you.

Yeah driving is mental in SL. I came from Doha there and it's already bad enough in Qatar. I don't know a single person who's came back who hasn't mentioned the driving. It wasn't the guy I recommended was it? I think the average wage in Sri Lanka is about £80 a month. I'd leave it be, fuck cutting off the bread line to the family that lives on that.

Nah, not your man, another. The same firm is picking us up for transfer, so I might just drop an email saying can you send someone fresh as the last bloke seemed a little tired.
