Just buy her a simple ring then for the gesture and explain that she can pick a ring later?

I bought the diamond first (the best I could afford) and produced that when I proposed. Then we designed the ring together.

Went down well although I shat myself about dropping the stone…..

Yeah, best to just get a token gesture for the event. Wouldn't want her ring to get destroyed on holiday.

give her a debeers brochure in a brown paper envelope along with the prenup and the number of a deec lawyer. Avoid wearing trainers when you propose.

Cracking Evil

Had to deal with a pain in the arse ebay US seller in order to get him to sell me a jacket.
Wouldnt mark low value, offered to send to a proxy but only if the proxy bought it themselves from a confirmed address etc bla bla bla
Eventually I got round him by offering to gift the money to him if he'd mark it at low value

He sent it from Portland to me in Ireland via USPS Priority Mail Express International

The fucking thing is in ICELAND instead of Ireland as of 2 days ago
"Your item departed a transfer airport in Keflavik International, Reykjavik, ICELAND on March 3, 2015 at 7:03 am. The item is currently in transit to the destination."
Seller swears he wrote Ireland on it, his retarded r must look like a c

When I track it on https://www.packagetrackr.com I get a graphic of a little van in Iceland as if its out for delivery

Am I fucked alltogether now or what are the chances of the Iceland lads copping it & sending it to its proper destination?

I know, its comical

Have been onto Iceland's post office customer service….odd thing is the tracking code isnt registering on their system, you would think it would had it entered the country

Not sure if its USPS's fault or the capper seller….wherever it is all they have to do is google the first few lines of the address & itll pop up on maps instantly, gonna have to wait till lunchtime till US customer service opens….nightmare

When you use regular mail (i.e. no FedEx/DHL/UPS) the tracking code by the sending party is changed into a local tracking code (Icelandic one in this case Laughing out loud). USPS should be able to give you that code.

Aye, here in Ireland though if I stick a US code in it automatically transfers it into the local one….surprisingly the Icelandic system doesn't.
Bird on live chat says that if it is the case that they have it then it'll be transferred on to me, not holding my breath though Evil

Similar thing happened to me a few years ago, sent a package to South Korea and it was delivered to South Africa instead.
