How true is the 'it's easier to find a job when you still have one' in this day and age? Want to go travelling for six months, but worried as to how hard it'll be for me to find a job again once I come back

Have a look at one with airline rewards. I've got an old MBNA bmi one (no longer available) that saves me hundreds of pounds on British Airways flights each year.

Nationwide Select Visa card, 0.5% cashback on all £ purchases.

Has the bonus of being able to be used abroad or for foreign transactions with 0% commission, and the exchange rate you get with Visa is the whole sale rate.

Caveat is you have to have a Flexaccount with them.

Best current account for someone who: keeps 1-2k in the account, never goes overdrawn but wants some overdraft allowance in case of emergencies?

I'm on O2 and going on holiday next week. Is there anything I can pay for so that my data is cheap when abroad? Heard of people getting thousand pound bills and all sorts. Thanks
