When did speeding fines go up?

A mobile unit zapped me at 7 in the morning last Thursday and I was only 5 miles over 30 in a 30. I had zero points on my license. Gutted.

X, can’t you just pay up for a driver awareness course and skip the points? Or is it points regardless nowadays?

Yeah I'll pay the £110 and do the course. When it was a £60 fine it didn't seem bother me so much…

Take the fine/points.

The training course is a fate worse than death.

Guess it depends who's doing it.

How long was yours? I was there for at least 3 hours.

bout the same.
obviously would not of chose to be there but found it quite interesting. There were some knackers asking LOADS of questions (ultimately making the session longer) and to be fair I bet it was 20 years since I passed my test (no exam in my time Eye-wink ).

Shoplifting is on the increase near me and everytime I see it it makes my blood boil. I've always been an incredibly fast runner and always tempted to chase them down. Anyone done this?

Anyone used stockX? I’ve bought 2 pairs of trainers in one day off there. Hope I’m not stung too badly on import taxes.

Google tells me it could be 8% or 13% or anything from 0-60% Puzzled

If it is a US based seller why wouldn't it be customs duty + Import VAT (20%) + £8 Royal Mail fee?

Have a second shower that is an 8.5kw electric one and not very powerful.

Want to swop it for a 10.8kw Mira sport one but don't know if that can be done on existing wiring or need an upgrade.

Do I need an electrician or plumber or both?

I'm hoping electrician can do everything and what might be a reasonable cost?

Sellers have to send to their warehouse, located in the US, where they authenticate the shoes and then send them over to you.
I'd would expect taxes to be like Cracka suggested

You’d need 10mm cable and a 50a mcb, circuit needs to be rcd protected too.
That’s a general setup, can vary with how cable is installed etc. but that will work fine with what you have.
