Really good customer service with Bulb but be careful as it's a variable tariff so easy to run up a large bill in this sort of weather.

As in the amount you pay changes each month?

Anyone know any pubs near Shoreditch/Hoxton etc that have a private room that you can have strippers in? Somewhere not too fussy. It’s for a stag do and we will put a few grand behind the bar.

I got a £7k pay rise about 6 months ago from work, now looking to move to a different company as my job has slowly changed to something over the last 6-12 months which isn't right for me. This likely to go down like a lead balloon? Any advice on best approach?

Agree with Pad, the pay rise has no bearing on your decision to leave so I wouldn't mention it.
Have you found a new job? It might be worth bringing up your concerns with your current employer if there's the opportunity to move you into a more suitable role (depending on the size of the company). They clearly value you from the pay rise so there might be a solution there?

I was in a similar position. I checked out some other companies, was nearly hired (only had to sign) at one for even more money. Told my old job I was leaving and reasons why (for me it was mostly working alone most of the time, had no team or even one direct colleague to get feedback and was looking for a challenge). CEO called me and matched the offer and promised me I'd get a team within X period of time and some other things. Figured I'd give them some months and it turned out nicely. Make sure to clearly state what you're looking for, especially if it's a smaller company with no real HR yet.

Good point. They've been very good to me having had surgery and they gave me full pay for the time I was off sick etc. Gotta take the personal bit out of it, it's business at the end of the day I suppose. I enjoy my job but it's in a line of work that I am not interested in at all, so it's not really right for me. Plus my role has changed in the last 12 months or so into something I don't enjoy.

Cheers all
