Ebay buyer has said they will pay for me to deliver an item.

It is 18 miles round trip.

What would be a sensible charge?

I’m thinking £10 but literally have no idea.

Depends if it’s motorway or 18 miles across London. If the journey’s within an hour £10 should be okay.

I bought a pair of Church’s off eBay two weeks ago and the seller delivered them to my door for £3

Edit - on a Saturday too and he’s the one who offered to do it weirdly

Judge it based off how long it will take you and how much of a cunt of a drive it is, instead of the mileage.

Depends on how much you sold the item for and which kind of item it is I suppose. Think £10s fair if you want it gone, good karma too if you believe that sort of thing

Thanks. Charged a tenner in the end and it took me half an hour.

Bulky item talking up loads of space in garage now gone after being listed forever.

Anyone got any recommendations for a good alarm system, possibly with a subscription to auto call a security firm or police?

House has been done over whilst away with cars nicked and valuables etc.

About to buy my first property with the mrs. Need to find someone to do a full survey on it as offer has been accepted and DIP has been agreed with HSBC. Any advice on things to look out for, rough prices to pay for service etc? Property is Victorian, well kept and maintained by looking.

Cheers

One of my cats appears to be stuck on my neighbour's extension roof 3 doors down.

He's meowing his head off.

I've been round and there's no lights on.

Is it acceptable to possibly wake someone for the sake of a fat shit cat that can't jump down 10 feet?

I ended up falling asleep and my girlfriend sorted it out.

She'd been at the pub so was feeling a bit braver than me. She was climbing over fences and all sorts Laughing out loud

I'm in the dog house but at least I got to stay in bed. Cool

Looking for a decent budget kitchen knife set for when we move out. Can anyone recommend a set that won't immediately go blunt after a week?
