it's a really nice place, restaurants are nice, you can escape the cunts quite easy. There's cunts everywhere, this is a nice place with cunts. I'm not a member, don't live near it but if I did I probably would be

Cheers mate. Just checked and it’s a 1.5 hour drive from me. That’s not too bad.

However, factor in that myself and the mrs would both have to become members in order to use all facilities, it’ll cost about 4K which because of the distance, we’d only use maybe a couple times a month if that.
Over 27s have to pay double the membership fee Laughing out loud

If I lived closer or was rolling in it, it’d be worth it I reckon. Just can’t justify the usage it would get with how far we live from it.

I think you're being optimistic saying you'll use it a couple of times a month too

That drive will soon come very unappealing. Lovely relaxing day out followed by a nice gridlock Sunday 2 hour drive home.

Hence why I said maybe!

Driving doesn’t really bother me, I work all over so constantly on the road for long periods of time.

Will give it a miss in any case.

What facilities are restricted to members only that your +3 guests can't use?

No point in a Soho Farmhouse membership if you're not super local. If you live in Lon get an Every House and use your local house - then you have the bonus of the Farmhouse whenever you feel like it. As long as you make good use of your local then it'll be worth it.

Biggest thing I'd miss would be Google Maps, maybe not so much in car, but on foot and when abroad.

Yup, Google maps is a life saver. We really take it for granted

Even Google Translate is great with their OCR when abroad.

I have a simple Nokia that I use for certain occasions, typically weekends/nights out with friends or family. Switch the SIM and head out. Not used for anything but calls or texts, some come with WhatsApp but I don't use as even thats a massive time waster nowadays.

Have a much better night as not distracted by shite. If people need to get hold of me they will call and any friends I'm heading out with I just whatsapp before saying call or text if you need me as on the burner.

Don't miss it and I can switch back during the week for work etc

That sounds like the best way to do it @snaye

Would definitely miss some handy apps but I just feel I waste so much time looking at shit on my phone I really don’t need to

£90 a month for Sky Q multiroom with anytime calls, superfast broadband and a Netflix subscription - sound a good deal? Anyone know any better? Going into first place with the mrs and would prefer it all with one provider.
