anyone ever managed to get a tax refund before P800s are issued? got my P11D and P60 for last tax year 2019/20 and owed ~£2k. Would like to get my hands on that asap - rather than waiting until September for a P800

I claimed back mine not long ago, are you still employed? You can do everything online and it’s quite straight forward, they give you a timeframe which at the moment I would add atleast a week, so if you did now I would estimate start or June. Just go to the gov.uk and follow the instructions (if your still employed I’m not sure you can get before September)

I'm looking to buy a guitar listed on Facebook marketplace. With the current measures I can't travel to meet him to pick it up in person, and I would like to get my hands on it now while we're in lockdown.

What is the safest way to do the transaction? Would paying via PayPal as goods and services really cover me incase anything went wrong?

Has anyone here dealt with anything similar?

Not sure where to put this.. I need to get hold of autocad 2020, used to be able to get free 3 year student license without having to provide proof but now you need to upload supporting documents for a 1 year license. Anyone torrented it before and can recommend anywhere?

Should be a good option but just in case.

Any recommendations for a work laptop? Budget around £800, just need it for standard MS Office stuff, and be able to have a gazillion Chrome tabs open at the same time. Not too fussed about size, will most likely be hooked up to an external monitor.

Cheers. Ended up buying new to avoid any potential issue with scammers or other problems.

This, got a brand new t480s last year top spec with full warranty off ebay for £750 using a 10% off code. I have no idea why or how (laptop business gone under?) but it's a great laptop. It is aesthetically hideous however

You crate training it?

Also be 100% certain dog is properly socialised with other humans than you and your partner before taking it to the office. You don't want it biting people…

Nah, not crate training. It's generally very well behaved, listens to no and it's name and stuff - just sometimes decides to piss on the floor or shit on the rug. He has already met (from 2m distance, boris) my mum and brother, few friends. we've done what we can to get him socialised during lockdown.

Currently working on a T480, third in this series for me. They are the real deal, rugged and enterprise grade. I've got about 300 tabs open at the minute but use The Great Suspender. I have an 8th gen i5 with 8gb and its good enough for my office work.

If they are 11 weeks old then you are doing pretty well.
We got our puppy at 12 weeks and was completely untrained. Took a fair few months for it to stop the occasional Rogue piss/shit. Especially at my gf’s work.
If I remember correctly, getting them off the pads and trying to get them to signal to go outside is the hardest bit.
