Books are a good shout, especially the likes of Dear Zoo, Gruffalo, Hungry Caterpillar etc.

That's fair. Similar thing, could be seen as a more personal choice, but this was worth its weight in gold

We were debating these as my sister in law has one. Went for the MyHummy instead. Will wait and see if it actually works!

My sister has bought this nightmarish thing for her upcoming baby.

Yes mate, I have a power cage in the garage and looked extensively at flooring, anything labelled for a gym will have a huge mark up.
Find a stable mat supplier near you, I bought 2 about 7 years ago, they're solid rubber and weigh about 30kg per mat, wont ever break or wear out and definitely up to the job of dropping weights on them.

Just bought 18 1x1 60mm rubber panels. I was looking at the matts but want it to fit. If I sell house I’m in will look good as well.
Got the cage, bench and dumbells, bar, kettlebells,
Can’t believe the prices people are trying to charge for weights.
Using Mirafit mostly - service is amazing.
What setup you got Kadafi

We have got our baby a Jellycat Giraffe, but I feel my wife would want to have chosen it herself, which we did, as its quite personal.

Anyone done their garage out into home gym before - any links for good rubber flooring?

Report to the class thread. My close friends buy a joint gift of an engraved silver spoon from Tiffany (think it’s about £150) for the new babies, and it always goes down well.

My friends are starting to have kids on purpose, whats a good gift to buy for a new set of parents?
