DM if you want a hook up. Using Firestick 4K with pre-loaded IPTV, works great. Just plug and play, you're done.

i took on bt over sky recently, only issue im finding is we dont have an ariel point so things like itv dont work which is only an issue for the euros where i have to hook laptop up to tv, abc is fine as app works fine on tv, nowtv for sky sports was a better deal than sky

with iptv i just to un tech savvy to get my head around it/what happens when it gets cut off? obviously would love to be able to figure out only spending £100 odd a year over a grand if someone can idiot proof the set up for me

If you get a now TV sky sports pass and split between 3 people it works out a tenner (or less with a special offer deal) a month if that.

Had IPTV and VPN before for ages but always a hassle having to turn it on software end as didn't get a router that did it automatically.

Watch a lot of golf and basketball when prem isn't on so sky sports perfect for me and more than enough. Dont even have time for Amazon prime and Netflix the amount of sports I watch.

Sure thing lemme know the details.

Wanting something with a good EPG, and which is good for linear (Free TV channels) too, as work in this field and could do with access to certain channels. Also heading to a property with no rooftop aerial in situ at the mo so could make an easy option.

Heard of/or used Buzz TV before?

IPTV route sounds like it could answer the probs but for lack of aerial you could try a wideband plug in, picked one up from amazon for about £15, transparent plastic thing, popped it on a window and it picks up the full array.

We’ve got a wedding next weekend, there all day - from church to the evening do…
Is a suit required? I’d like to go more causal, but I’m unsure if that’s frowned upon?
Like trousers, shoes and a camp collar shirt or something. No blazer?

I wouldn't say frowned upon but I would judge if it were at my wedding tbh. You can lose the jacket later.

If you’re in the church you need to have a jacket. You can always ditch it in the evening.

Could always bring a spare shirt to whack on in the evening?

Always considered IPTV but I just couldn’t trust it if a big game was on and I invited mates round. It always lags or freezes when I’m at peoples houses who have it and I end up wishing I’d never bothered going round.

Is it more reliable now?

I share a nowtv and bt sport log in with 2 others. Works out about £12 a month each. Then pay for Netflix myself.

Mine used to lag before getting the vpn. Ever since it’s been perfect. Every big games has been sound, tuns better than it was a few years a go. Again, you need quick internet and you’ll be fine.

Jacket/blazer required unless invite stipulates otherwise, ditch it for the evening do like everybody else does. Linen / unstructured is fine if you want to go casual.

This is my concern, coupled with the fact I can't be arsed to work out how to get the thing to work - yes Sky/BT have your pants down but it just works
