Hearing good things about wreckfish for food if you can get in, filter and Fox is a nice little coffee shop/wine bar/cafe, Baltic market is alright as well for a food hall type affair.

I'm equally happy in an old school boozer as I am in somewhere a bit more on trend tbh mate. Clubs probably more on the underground side as opposed to commercial but my tastes are pretty broad (see what tune thread). I guess the plan is to start with pints in a decent pub and move onto a some bars or a club depending on what's on.

I’m not really sure my recommendations would be to your taste to be honest.

If you want an old school boozer with mad fuckers in it go to Coopers by Clayton Square Laughing out loud Or even the Quarry on Matthew st (that’s called Legends sports bar now I think) and Remeniss for 90’s tunes 100 ft away. If the Penny Farthing is still open round by Lime Street that will open your eyes.

My usual go too’s are Concert Square (Soho downstairs for dance/upstairs for hip hop/rnb).

There used to be a Circo down the dock but think it’s moved now to Seel st, but round there and fleet st is good and where I go.

Also nice bars up going towards Philharmonic which is a bit more chilled.

Concert square Laughing out loud

Not been out on the lash properly there for a while but bars in the Baltic Triangle might be more aligned with Fukers usual tastes, or someone visiting an art exhibition. More central Motel Bar was good, and Berry & Rye was recommended.

If your out to pull somewhere like Heebie Jeebies Eek . If there is a Circus night on that will be a solid choice for electronic music.

I’m not really surprised fuks very own Carlton Banks doesn’t like Concert Square.

Like I said, my tastes would be a lot different to most on here.

If 051 and Pleasure Rooms was still open I would of recommended them an all cos they were the best nights out ever in Liverpool.

Full of cunts wearing loafers with no socks and moustaches anywhere else.

Laughing out loud I wasn't having a go, I mentioned Heebie Jeebies ffs! There is a time and occasion for Concert square (I must have been 10+ times after Chester races, stag do's, big groups etc) but even for that kind of thing Alma De Cuba would be better.

Duke street food market is decent if you’re after a bite to eat or can just have a couple of drinks in there.

Petit cafe du coin is up on the way out of town heading towards Baltic triangle, nice little jazz cocktail bar.

Jimmys bar across from the bombed out church is a decent place if you like a bit of rock/indie, usually has events on downstairs in the basement.

Other than that there’s volpi on duke street for food, wine and cocktails. Berry and rye for a quiet little speakeasy and the usual places up Seel street and that area. Salt dog slims, crazy Pedros pizza, Santa chupitos.
