Wrong.

Liverpool definitely wanks all over Manchester and isn't full of cunts.

What pre match pub did you drink in Carl? It's always the park for me.

You bastards Sad

If you know where you're going Manchester is a sick night out. If you go Deansgate Locks, or Printworks, you're gonna have a bad time. Northern quarter is great place for drinks.

Anyway, i'm obviously in the minority, i need to get down to Liverpool more. It's hard as a manc to get excited about going to Liverpool

Oh, and Leeds is better than both i reckon.

So honestly where on a sat night should a Londoner from hoxton go in Manc?

I hate Liverpool, love Manchester. Football allegiance probably embeds it in me, but I just don't like the place. As soon as I hear that fucking accent I want to get the train out of there. Shopping, restaurants, drinking are all Manchester for me. I'll give them the tarty birds though.

Depends what you're into.

Saturday night. If you want cheap drinks, young indie cindies, go to 'the view', 'South', or 'Moho Live'.

If you want some cool cocktail bars with hipster-y type people. Then go NQ, and check out 'The Bay Horse', 'Socio-Rehab', 'Noho'.

If you want to go somewhere fancy, that will impress the lady, then 'Room', 'Restaurant Bar and Grill', 'Panacea'.

Personally i'd go NQ for some cocktails, move on to a club, then end up at the only place open until really late, 'Black Dog Ballroom'.

The problem is NQ is great for bars and drinking with mates but doesnt have club type places to pull & dance, other than Mint Lounge which is good on a Friday but not so good on Sat. Lamars has the right kind of atmosphere but mixed clientel and far too busy.

If you want to enjoy some decent electronic music rather than the above there are more options, Soup Kitchen, Kraak Studio, Joshua Brooks, Roadhouse, Sound Control, Antwerp Mansion (not in city centre) etc

For pulling Liverpool > Manchester as its prob best trying Deansgate locks or be wadded and do the WAG places like Panacea, which says it all really Sad

Weekend NQ does get too rammed, so i'd suggest going there early evening, then moving on. Mint Lounge is probably the only club, aside from Moho Live.

Depends what night is on at Joshua Brooks, but good venue.

If he wants to pull young student indy birds (which i think he does) then 'The Venue' and '42nd Street' are pretty easy.

That's the thing with the NQ, its just a plastic east London. Really starts to grind, it's like shoreditchs Essex' hangouts but worse.
Couple of those places you mentioned I haven't been too, I'll check out.
