Hula in NQ does good cocktails. If it was bigger with larger dancefloor would be awesome for pulling as well, party tunes all night.

Liverpool's fine for a one-off every now and then and is a really good away day, but Leeds and Manchester shit on it in the long run.

Have to go with Liverpool > Manchester > Leeds, have done a few weekends in each but Liverpool shits all over them both for atmosphere & women. Have to say though our next weekend away up there is now split Manchester on the Friday (Pretty much due to WHP) and Liverpool on the Saturday. Cool

Going Liverpool with the bird for a day/evening. Any recommendations? Was thinking the tate gallery, possibly the slavery museum. And then go out in the evening somewhere for a meal but nothing too smart as we will be walking around all day etc

yo cracka.

aint been up in while, lived there a few years, but some to check out are:

puschka; nice a la carte menu, situated down a side road in i guess a cooler (less commercial) part of town. need to book table

italian club fish; fish fish fish but bangin, on bold street

the monro; gastropub on duke street, again booking probably needed

the noble house; never been but hear there's a secret speakeasy. be aware it could be full of posers though i'm not sure on it, maybe do some research

the quarter; usually some good specials, good value. few other restaurants up that end to check like 60 hope street, carriage works but not sure what they're saying these days and both a bit £$£$ depending on your budget

all i listed (except 60 hope, noble house and carriage because unsure) got a good atmos and suitable for takin the missus.

if the weathers good go up the anglican cathedral

hope thats a help!
