Going for the weekend with my g/f and staying in the Malmaisson.
Will check out the Tate Modern and do some shopping probably. Heard Bold Street is worth checking out and looking at going to Camp & furnace and the Baltic Social.
Any other particularly good lunch spots, cocktail bars or general stuff to see?
edit - Where's best for brekfast near Albert Dock?

Stick around seel street and you can't go wrong. Look up 81ltd for cocktails, bar above salt dog slims. Need to get a code to get in but it's a nice little place to go with the Mrs.
Slims pork chop express is good for food, as is Lucha libre for Mexican.

There is a cocktail bar just around the corner from there with literally no name / sign its a bar. Anyone know what it's called? I tried to go but it was full.

Really impressed. Only really been for the football before, so it was nice to properly check the city out.
Leaf and Bold Street Coffee were spot on. Had brekkie at Cafe Tabac which did a good fry up too.
Cocktails are Jenny's were brilliant (barrel aged Old Fashioned was immense). The service was top notch too

Neon Jamon is the real deal.

Tortilla in Salt House is cracking, not been to Neon yet but the smithfield road one is brilliant. Check out the Art School on Sugnall st. if you want something a bit more fancy, went the other week and food was excellent. There is a place called the Buyers Club located behind the Old Blind School at the top of Hardman Street - good food but small portions I found. Wine's are brilliant and lots of different ones by the glass, plus the cocktails are some of the best I have ever had. Other side of town, Bacarro is good and near to Jenny's bar which is one of the best going.

Oh and as mentioned above, Jenny's is fantastic for cocktails.
There's loads of good bars

Best place for a haircut these days - £30 max? Ideally not a beardy hipster place, but will go anywhere if they're decent

Grove Tap and Grill is cracking

Not 100%, but sure that Grove got a zero or one star hygiene rating not too long ago
