You should see what £800k will get you in NI, only downside is having to live in NI.

Robbed?

Tooting is definitely suffering from the Balham/Clapham overspill. Loads of City plebs live down there now and again trying to make it Clapham Common Mk2.

I grew up and still live in Brixton but I hate what it has become now, there's fucking guided tours of Brixton Market every Saturday, the Yah, Yah's have "white washed" the place far cry form the days when I grew up. But change is inevitable.

Play football there on Saturday morning, and it's so funny to hear about people who have moved there in the last two years complaining how much the area has changed. Feel like saying, 'Motherfucker, you're the reason it has changed!'

Do you play at Ferndale Road?

Yeah those people are the exact reason why it's changed.

Less than 800 just got me a 3 bed detached with a good garden with a train to Waterloo in 15 mins, zone 5 though. As an old cunt I’d rather have a decent size place with the centre a short trip away than a zone 1 shoebox.

saying that, another vote here for the burbs, but i guess that depends on your lifestyle

More expensive than the places mentioned!

Yeah we've looked at Wanstead. As Cracka said, 3 bed properties are mainly houses, which go for upwards of 800k

Close by is Bushwood, which is nice, and can get below 800k for a 3 bed terrace. Access to great schools and parks for the dog. Just nothing popping up for us at the moment.

The argument for living in/out of London is completely down to your lifestyle.
No point paying London prices, if all you do is chill in your house.
