Making a pretty rough decision, at the age of 25 don't really want to do this but..

Thinking of moving back home with my parents in the box room, kinda getting annoyed I can't spend ££££ on clothes because I have responsibilities now and rent is killer. I want to be able to spend my money not on savings or actually growing the fuck up but spending dollar on clothes that don't necessarily work together and make me look really awkward. Perhaps people may start listening to my opinion but maybe they will just think of me as the same old retard.

Anyone got any advice? cheers

looking at moving into a sole let place with the missus

first time i have done this in london, have just taken rooms in existing house shares before this.

whats the go with asking prices and possibility of negotiating etc?

is it generally you pay what they are asking or can you usually get away with offering a bit lower and negotiating?

i get this will depend on the place and the demand, but wondering if you can get away with it or is it a no go.

Always make an offer and never tell the Estate Agent what your 'maximum' is or what you will 'go to'.

If you have settled on a particular block of flats see if they have a notice board / Facebook page etc as their will often be people looking to rent out privately, in my place its about £100-200 a month cheaper without a letting agent being involved - but remember it depends on having a decent landlord more.

Any recommendations for roof top bars/restaurants/cafes etc.. Down tomorrow and was hoping to go to Franks cafe in Peckham but looks like it will be shut. Looking for somewhere with good views.

There's one at Dalston Junction. Not sure how good it is.

Cheers for the above suggestion. The one above was shut after 3pm and with the weather it didn't really matter.

APC, Sunspel, Albam, is there not a shop that stocks Vis on Redchurch Street?

Reminded me Timothy Everest on Redchurch St stocks some interesting items, not just their own brands. Not sure if geared for holidays though.
