1500 a month will get you a palace!
you wanna flat share or your own? I always tell people move East, I considered London Bridge way when I moved here but so glad I didnt go ahead. Maybe somewhere like Angel- its really nice round there and pretty central…

apparently HSBC wont give me a mortgage on a new build.. no ifs or buts, no nothing - so anyway im going to some other banks to find out…
its seriously frustrating - I finally quell my indecisiveness and got my brother to pick a flat that id be happy with and this happens.
so I really dont know what to think..

anyway, this might be a blessing in disguise.. I wonder about a new build.. and with Seenmys piccys in the interior design thread it made me wish I could to do a Sarah Beenie and post my creations all over pinterest, tumblr and instagram.. it would be nice to do up an old place but itd be hard work and time consuming i dunno..

whats Clapton like?
What about newbuy (5-10% deposit scheme)

budget wise i have £1000 - £1500 and im looking for something either side of the river. a few mates live in brixton but i would prefer something a bit more modern…

any recommendations / help? ive done a quick look on the usual sites and there are just loads of options…

initially i will be taking a 6 even 12 month rental before purchase…

doesnt matter if its south, on the thames is central! unless you mean way east or west

shiggy, why not say what area you will be working in?

1500 pcm will get you something good. 1000 pcm will be a challenge / houseshare.

Jawdropping!

must have done some serious interior work on it though to bring it up to that kind of money, but still bonkers even if had spent a tenth of its sale price on it
