i know the girl who owns this ! Very clever use of space but she's up the duff & wouldn't fancy having a kid in such a tight space

Yeah Rural, thats the aim. I have a flat in Derby thats only just out of negative equity, cant sell it for 130k, here it would sell for 350+.

Never thought id take to London life, but got so much to offer.

On the subject of purchase, this is how to do it. Did a Survey in Wimbledon earlier. Knackered shit place. Bought by owner of local estate agents at 400k. Its a 2 bed mid terrace. He will extend to the back, do the loft with a bed and a bath and generally upgrade. He will spend under 100k and sell at 650k. Thats 150k for nothing. Thats how to make it work. Obviously you need the cash/borrowing power, but its easy money.

Is he likely to get all that done for £100k though?

I assume it's not going to be some fancy glass extension rather the normal brick type of yesteryear

If you have somewhere else to live then go for it otherwise too much headache having the builders in for long.
Would rather just pay a premium to have a completed house
