Photography work in the community centre, roller derby stuff.

It was fine in there actually, looks rough, but it was no issues.

Not really sure if this belongs here, but just need some advice about locations in London

So I've been offered an industrial placement year at John Lewis, I need to decide which three locations within London i would most like to work at (obviously has to be where theres a John Lewis branch). My first choice I'm pretty sure is Oxford Street, second choice i think is Sloane Square (Chealsea). Just need to advice about my third option if it did come down to me being at this one.

The other locations are:

John Lewis Stratford City
101 The Arcade,
Westfield Stratford City,
Montfichet Road,
London,
E20 1EL

John Lewis Brent Cross
Brent Cross Shopping Centre,
London,
NW4 3FL

Which of these two would be the nicest location?
Thanks!

Gonna do as much as I can whilst I'm still living in my current gaff. The ground floor needs the most work, so gonna start there and work my way up. Might do another renovation thread if people are interested??

fair enough.

if you are taking down plaster, etc, i wholly suggest you reconsider otherwise the filth generated upstairs is just going to to migrate downwards

Nah, upstairs is mostly cosmetic so it'll be fine.

Currently live up north but I have been offered a 6 month (potentially 12) work contract in London and need to get to Old Street tube for it.

Are there any sites for short term flat shares?

Where should I be looking location wise? Gf lives in Tooting and have friends dotted about the place, I suppose Zone 1-3 with less than 45mins commute would be good - no idea if this is unrealistic.

How much you want to pay? You can easily find well priced places, especially short ones like that, in excellent places it just takes some looking.
