Make sure to compare with hotelscombined (or trivago).
Mrs booked a hotel 2 weeks back in London which was ~30% cheaper on Agoda (through hotelscombined) than any other booking site.
Hotwire can also give you good deals, but it's blind booking - so you need to research a bit which hotel they're offering. For example Town Hall hotel is very often on there for a good price.

Looking for somewhere to stay for 2/3 nights in April, ideally want to pay under £200 a night. Have no idea even what area to look at. Going with wife and two young kids, probably going to Harry Potter studios for half a day (so want to be closeish to Kings Cross for train), Natural History and general touristy shite, so thinking somewhere around Hyde Park but I'm completely clueless. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
