Thanks both. It’s for research more than anything for work. Looking at shop layouts, point of sale etc.

Locally, Hilly Fields is a nice park to chill in, best coffee is Browns next to Brockley station, Mamadough in Peckham is excellent, Joyce for beers, Farmer's market on Lewisham Way on saturday good for lunch and a wander.

Forza Wine are running a temporary spot called Forza Wine- no idea if you’ll get a booking but it’s worth a try and the kids should enjoy the view

All great ideas. Ladywell Tavern is great for Sunday roast and they have Neck oil

The road outside brockley station is closed to traffic for August, Parlez by the station has a decent burger pop up ah the weekend and if the weather is nice you can sit outside and have a beer. Joyce has just reopened and is good for beers. L’Oculto opposite is decent for lunch. Bit further afield but Larry’s in Peckham is really good as is Levan which is the restaurant next door. Dunno how old your kids are but playground on Peckham common is decent. There’s a Mamadough pizza in Ladywell as well.

Also went to the market last week but it’s pretty shit at the moment as only about half the stalls

Take the kids to the horniman museum will kill a couple of hours . South London isn’t short of decent parks but if you’re looking for something a bit different for the kids go see the dinosaurs in Crystal Palace Park or take them swimming London’s only wild swimming lake https://lewisham.gov.uk/inmyarea/openspaces/parks/beckenham-place-park/features-of-beckenham-place-park/the-lake-in-beckenham-place-park

Doesn't sound very kid-friendly.
