https://www.koffer24.com/shop/en/rimowa–multiwheel-67-5cm-salsa–834-63_09–ab.html

Cheapest your find shipped, comes direct from Rimowa so could take 2 weeks via DPD.

Loads of codes for Koffer24 only but you will have do to a bit off searching about think I got an extra 20 euros off when I got mines.

Anyone else had Rimowa issues? My handle only seems to go 1/3 of the way up when there are items in the case. Been back for repair already (bought in Dec15)and used this weekend - same issue. Opened the case, handle was fine. My cheap Tesco case never ever had this issue

Looking at the Rimowa Classic Check-in medium - where's the cheapest place these days/what's a cheaper alternative?

I got mine from Koffer24 (Carl has linked them above) pretty sure they still work our cheapest. Was a massive saving on UK/US price when I bought mine.

Buy a pre-bashed one off of ebay then get it serviced if necessary. Shiny new ones make you look well mainland.

Selection is way smaller on there, hardly any black cases. Took it to that sneakercon event loads of people were asking to buy it.

I went back through the thread and came across Koffer24. Unfortunately, shipping time is up to 3 weeks and I needed it asap.

After some Googling, I ended up going to London Luggage who did me a good deal on a Salsa Deluxe in black - all their old stock is marked down and got an extra 10% off. Compared it to the new version - the Elite - and the details are so much better on the Salsa, the Elite looks cheaper.

They have a Classic Check-In (old version) for around 600 if anyone is interested. Then an extra 10% off I imagine.

Conductor the suitcases come direct from the Rimowa factory in Czech Republic so take longer, think mine took 10 days, but probably longer now.

Do bother trying to baby a Rimowa it will f up, my cheap market job 4 wheeled suit case is holding up better.

Aluminium ones are made in Germany or Canada.

Polycarbonate are made in Czech Republic.

Any recommendations for a low key casual looking backpack with minimal branding and 'proper' straps. Most of the better looking ones aren't very useful for much more than getting the train to work. Needs to do motorbike trips, cycling to work, short hikes, general travel/flights. Something like a Vis Ballistic would be good but I wouldn't want to put a £500 bag in hold luggage, etc.

Ortlieb sounds like what you’re asking for in the first half but this hold luggage stipulation make it sound like you need two different bags

These Dsptch x 3sixteen Daypacks are half the price of the Ballistic and maybe nicer imo.
