Short of getting a Veilance one I really like this:

Might be too small for your needs though.

I'd rather get two bags, with one specific for motorcycle use. Master of none and all that.

Really good options, wasn't expecting that. Cheers.

Potentially stuck flying with Flybe relatively regularly. So far I’ve used my Filson zip tote so as not to fall foul of their tiny cabin allowance but it’s doing my head in and I want something with 4 wheels and telescopic handle.

Anyone got any suggestions - 55cm x 35cm x 20cm max?

Don’t even think Rimowa make anything that small. Laughing out loud

Thanks.

I picked up a set of Antler Juno cases last year from TK Maxx. I got 2x small cases, a medium and a large for the RRP of a large case. They are great for the money, very strong and light

Muji's travel cases are a bargain, perfect beaters for regular travel like that. The smallest one fits those measurements you need: https://www.muji.eu/pages/online.asp?Sec=18⋐=19&PID;=9889&qclr;=4549738872726

those “away” bags on Instagram any good? seem alright with the inbuilt battery. can’t tell if I’m just being shilled some tat?

what else are the options around the £200 mark? somsonite? Rimowas are cool but a lot of dickheads buying them at the moment

I have heard good things about Away and they are unbelievably popular in the US. I'm quite tempted by their weekend bag.

I had a samsonite neopulse, which look good for the money but it cracked in less than a year.

Rimowa are definitely the ones though.

I had one of the aluminium cabin away bags and sent it back. Was nice enough but the battery got stuck in the bag (more annoying than a problem) but the issue was it wouldn’t actually fit in the overhead lockers on BA or singapore airlines.

It’s true - used to be the reserve of German DJs and travelling architects…. now they are just part of the standard “paint by numbers” wardrobe for any dickhead - despite only using it once a year to get the bus to see their nan in eastbourne

I would go after a Zero Halliburton case if I had the cash. Way cooler than Rimowa. Ideally a vintage alu one but I don't think they have TSA locks so might be a risk of them being broken open.

those do look cool, I'd expect US nuke launch codes are carried in one? if I ever get weak and rich I'll def go for one over Rimowa, I definitely don't like buying German.

I’ve had an away bigger carry on for about 18 months and have flown 50+ times with it - still in great condition and the battery is super convenient. I got mine monogrammed because I’m a dick. Comes with a laundry bag in the case which is also super convenient. There’s always a code kicking about for £20 off as well.
