Not sure about the nuke codes but the brand went to space on the Apollo 11 mission (obviously not a consumer travel product tho):

'In 1969, the Apollo 11 space mission became the first to land man—and along with him a Zero Halliburton case—on the moon. As the cases were already airtight, only the inner lining needed to be modified for a case that carried moon rocks and soil samples back to Earth.'

Most of the old ones don't have wheels and are designed to be carried so masculinity intact Eye-wink

what else are the options around the £200 mark? somsonite? Rimowas are cool but a lot of dickheads buying them at the moment

I’ve had an away bigger carry on for about 18 months and have flown 50+ times with it - still in great condition and the battery is super convenient. I got mine monogrammed because I’m a dick. Comes with a laundry bag in the case which is also super convenient. There’s always a code kicking about for £20 off as well.

Do they go in overhead locker well on BA? Ideally need BA, SAS, Swiss and easyJet

If you buy the standard carry on it should be fine imho, I’m on Lufthansa and SAS often and no issues most of the time apart from the odd Oslo - CPH route so the standard carry on should be cool.

The away bigger carry on is great. It’s a perfect size as it’s a little bigger than most of the alternatives. Mines holding up well and i use it everywhere. Advice would be to get it monogrammed or get a colour other than black so you can tell it’s yours. So many people seem to have it now…
