Going to be going for a night out on a sat soon which will start at vodka revolution deansgate (not my choice).

Can anyone recommend any better places close by plus any late bars that are open 3am - 7am?

Cheers

If it's a hot day, come out of revolution and turn right and head straight down to Castlefield for some canal-side drinking. Barca, Albert's shed, possibly a sneaky drink in the Hiltons Cloud 23 if it starts to rain. If its proper shit weather, come out and turn left, and head towards Oxford St/Road for Rain Bar, Temple Bar, Thirsty Scholar, Odder etc etc. There's loads of late bars in Manchester, especially Northern Quarter, and I think a bar called the Northern which is open pretty much all night long. Depends what you into.

If you're going Castlefield way, Dukes 92 is worth a look. Also ask for the manager at revolution if you want chisel… Always used to do it anyway

Revolution Deansgate is good for birds, club area downstairs plays house/'electro' music with canalside smoking area/seats. Not as crap as you might think. If you want trendy try Common, Cord, Apotheca. Anywhere in northern quarter really.

Less than 10mins in a taxi to Northern Quarter where you have The Northern open until 5am, Blackdog Ballroom 4/5am just around the corner, Pool tables etc and food until quite late. Both can be a bit funny with groups of Oi Oi lads though.

235 Casino is off actual deansgate and is open until 6am with bar may need some of you to join though.

Cheers for infos.

How easy is it to get taxis around deansgate early in the morning as I might be staying in chorlton.

Remember once wandering around manchester centre for ages trying to get a taxi and it felt well dodgy. Was a few years ago tho.

No, it's still good, I went to the BodyWorks exhibition there.

Taxi rank just outside. Plenty of taxi's. I've never had a problem with them in Manchester ever

Going up with a bird to a gig in September. Need a hotel for the night. Central/shopping area ideally but taxis cost fuck all up north so i'm not too bothered if it's a bit outside. Any recommendations? 100 quid budget but could stretch if its something special.

Renaissance hotel on deansgate is alright. nice enough rooms but quite old fashioned. Good location, shopping is literally over the road. Should near enough to your budget.

http://www.theplacehotel.com/

These 2 are worth a look, serviced apartments rather than hotels and depending when you want to go can be done for just over £100.

Both central enough, Manchester is a small city centre anyway.

the ox Laughing out loud fuck off mate

blue rainbow, all day errrrrrryday.
they have just changed their exec rooms. you used to get loads of topper shit in them, but now its just a grocery bag with fruit juice/cereal in it. so dont bother with that shit, should get a one bed for 95ish, maybe cheaper.

in my opinion, the best hotel is the malmaison and then the radisson Edwardian, i stay in the hilton week in week out and its shit. most over rated hotel ever. those hotels are all 140-165.
