Is 3:21 much better than Southern 11? Need something like that for late Saturday afternoon.

Went to reds last night.
It was sensationally average. Everything was the definition of "ok". Beer, ribs, slaw, potato salad, all ok.
However there was a shit load of hot girls in there having romantic burgers with their boyfriends.
Liked the church theme however.

Went to the Marble Arch today, shamefully for the first time. What a pub. The food menu and bar snacks looked great as well. Going to have to organise a pub crawl ending there soon!

The Angel just further down is good too - for drinks anyway - not sure if they do food.

They do - real cosy feel to it as well. Chefs have changed over the years though not been for a while.

How was the wait at Reds? We got told an hour and a half last night, fuck that. Marble is cracking, annoys me that you can usually buy Marble beers cheaper in other pubs though.

Had a few in the Gas Lamp last night, just up from the Waitrose on the opposite side of town. Was nicely full and with decent beer options

Ummm 20mins wait but we had to wait for someone anyway. There's bigger canteen style tables out the back bit.

Dunno where to go tonight actually…. Going out with some unadventurous northern eaters.
Anything else opened recently worth a visit.
Preferably not American BBQ style.

Anyone know what bar/restaurant in Manchester has a b/w framed poster up of the godfather/Marlon Brando. Driving me mad. It’s not dive, but swank.

Sounds like the sort of tacky shit san Carlo has. Or the other pasta place, Rosso.

Is oi polloi the only APC denim stockist in manc? My Crotch has just gone and thought is go see the doctor for a repair while I'm here buy need some replacements.

Went to alberts shed the other night. Was fairly decent for the money.

Cheers. I hate San Carlo with a passion. Most over hyped crap resturant ever. Full of weasels.

Yep, only APC stockist.

Selfridges don't. And I'm glad oi polloi is sold out as I would rather set fire to my money than give it to them. Worst customer service I've ever dealt with.

I've always found them a bit smug. Get the impression that they think they're the best store in the world when they're not. I like a lot of their stuff though and Manchesters hardly teeming with good independents. Never really understood why they've not a a decent local competitor.

Would say the exact same about End in Newcastle and Hanon in Aberdeen (the physical stores aren't all that)

Anyone have any definitive knowledge on where Prince is playing this weekend? So far i've heard Albert Hall, Soup Kitchen and Big Hands (? Place is tiny).
